ErgoPill Training Tool
Introducing our latest training tool!
The ErgoPill is a versatile & portable training tool featuring a variable depth, variable height, edge.
Known also as a stepped edge, unlevel edge, or a natural edge, these holds represent a modern movement in finger training for climbing and offer an ergonomic hand position that allows better and more even engagement of all 4 fingers during training, rehab, and warmup.
We developed this training tool with consultation from experts in climbing medicine: Julia Cetnar, Reg. PT, MSc(PT), BA(KIN), CMAG & Dr. Yasser El-Sheikh, BSc, MD, FRCS(C).
Each of your fingers is unique in length and proportions. Forcing all four fingers onto a flat edge can create an injury-prone position and discourage pinky engagement. The variable height and depth edge of the ErgoPill equalizes your finger joint angles to load them more uniformly and more safely.
In addition to the stepped edge, the ErgoPill has a conventional edge and monos that can be used flat or incut by clipping both strands or only the front strand. There is also a Pinch!
